Le Clézio is a gallery located in Paris, France. This design starts from an extremely minimal visual point: the shadow cast by a square canvas. The shadow is not treated as a decorative effect, but as the core structure of the entire visual system—serving as the generative basis of the layout grid, which develops into a complete system through variations in the application of information hierarchy.

The shadow here is understood as a state of interdependence: it comes from the canvas itself, but also depends on the surrounding light and spatial conditions, and therefore cannot exist independently. This relationship also corresponds to the collaborative logic between the gallery and the artists—works are presented through the gallery, while the gallery also relies on the continuous creation of the artists; the two mutually constitute each other.Category:
