We developed a new typeface system for this exhibition. The system is based on modular units, with each character carried by a single sheet of sticky note. The typeface is designed as a dual structure: one side consists of mechanically printed characters, while the other side contains handwritten text. The ink from the handwritten layer seeps through to the back, allowing both forms to coexist on the same note, across its front and back. When these notes are arranged across an entire wall and gently move in the wind.

This structure also reflects a more complex condition in contemporary education, where the humanistic and the technological operate within the same system and continuously reshape each other. They function like the front and back of a single note, generating new outcomes through their interaction. Rather than trying to resolve this relationship, the work presents it as a real condition. The visual system places the rational and the emotional, the mechanical and the organic, not as opposites, but as interdependent dimensions that together shape how we understand and experience knowledge today.Category:
